i came back to read this again. But I still don’t understand it. The first time it was “that that on the plate? Fried Peas? The second viewing has me thinking that they ate “the Fried Food” whatever it was, the tongue is happy, the stomach looks upset, like it’s about to have oil-related diarrhea, So what is going on?

My first thought was your second option, so the speckles on the plate are what’s left after they ate.
