    My dear Awkward Yeti,
I have a rebuttal to your highly amusing and exceptional comic. You must understand that the unicorn was, in fact, not originally from the Americas. Unicorns were included in Chinese and Renaissance mythology…They are even mentioned in the Bible! So sadly, your exceedingly creative hypothesis is most likely false. I must tell you what enjoyment I receive from your comics. They are quite splendid.

Hannah, are you kidding? Of course he’s not being serious, it’s a comic, not really something he thinks to be plausible.
It’s an hypothesis on a comic sense, not on a real sense. Check the tags too.

Did somebody did try to fact check a comic strip? If so, does this mean that all of my historic knowledge gained by reading Sunday’s comics might not be true? If so, I am so screwed.

The irony of someone feeling the need to mention their combination of youth and ability to sting sting together a sentence to seem impressive, and then looking like a wanker.

I love the awkward yeti. I love having legends be debunked. I am intrigued and i look forward to the research and fact checking that brings us Part 2 of the unicorn. Also how do we still have rhino’s if they were all sent to the sea? these are the hard questions ppl. Btw i found the verse hannah was talking about. This is a direct quote: Gen 1 vs 32 “Unicorns.”..look it up! http://www.keywordslanding.org/Search/so_R2VuZXNpcyBDaGFwdGVyIDEgdnMgMzI_3.htm

Try Isaiah 34:7 instead… “And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.” http://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Isaiah-34-7/

So how did the unicorn become the national animal of Scotland?

…”Even” mentioned in the bible… Like it – the being used in the bible thing – was the hugest thing ever. Hilarious. Just hilarious. I know that you obviously wrote this comment 6 months ago but I have to comment on your comment anyway. Hannah, you seem to be an idiot. The word “even” seems very misplaced in your sentence since the bible is a bunch of bull (according to me). I don’t have any problems with you believing in something that’s not real to me… But I am quite tired of Americans (Yes you are prob an American) treating christianity (yup, christianity without a big c) as something greater than it actually is – treating “god” (yes, god without a big g) as something greater than it actually is and have ever (never) been. Please refrain from mentioning your religion this much during comments underneath a freaking comic strip. (Because I am quite certain that you mention it everywhere at all time. But I really don’t judge you. I judge your parents.)

Woooaaaah chill girl. I think all Hannah was saying by bringing up the bible is that the Unicorn mythology precedes the date that the comic was placed in and that it appears in other civilizations not just the Western one. So even though Unicorns are (sadly) not real, if the artist wanted to make it more mythologically accurate then they could have done so.

Then again, I also don’t think historical accuracy involving mythological creatures is that necessary in a fun little web comic. I enjoyed it nonetheless 😀

Moral of the story = don’t be a little know it all and you won’t give people excuses to be unnecessarily rude.

Lol, Angie, you’re just as bad. Needing to fulfill whatever you feel is lacking in you by opposing someone’s belief 😛 If you don’t believe in something, then keep it to yourself like you want those that do believe in something to do.

      Have a great day! – Signed fellow non-believer. 😛

Okay everyone. Hannah was OBVIOUSLY being sarcastic. I doubt that she’s really being nitpicky with this comic. Also, Angie…what’s your deal? One mention of the bible and you get all up in arms about it? I think you really read too deeply into that, especially since she was listing the different cultures that have mention of unicorns. And your sentance “The word even seems to be very misplaced in your sentence because the bible is bull (according to me)”. How does grammar apply to that? She didn’t mention that she was affiliated with any sort of religion, and why would you attack someone for just the mention of it?

We… we know this is a joke… right? Please stop looking for facts in a comic that involves rhinos evolving into manatees.
