I often wonder how well old movies portray actual life. When I was a kid, I thought people at the turn of the century walked really really fast, but that was only because the old films of that era weren’t yet 24 frames per second.

This is how I introduced my kids to silent movies. It helped that I started them on Buster Keaton.
