Better idea. Accelerate, then slam your breaks to decelerate to 10 under the speed limit. Then accelerate, then slam the brakes to be going 10 under again.

BECAUSE GOING 10 UNDER MEANS SAFE DRIVING.

Yep. Only if everybody is going ten under. I’ve seen as many freeway accidents caused by slow pokes as by speed freaks. And you get a speeder coming up behind a slow poke and weaving in and out of lanes you’ve got a recipe for mayhem.

Love it. It doesn’t snow where I live but this is exactly how it works when there’s heavy rain. Everyone decides they have to urgently be somewhere else and so the roads are packed with people driving around as if it’s perfectly dry – full speed, weaving in and out of traffic, the works.

I live in Albuquerque NM. We don’t get much snow, but when we do, people’s brains freak out. The worst ones are the people in 4WD vehicles. They think they’re bullet proof. Then they discover that 4WD does not increase the traction of your tires on ice. BOOM flipped over.
